Fresh Shed Apparel began in 2022, when founder Tim Vande Sluis started looking for an alternative to t-shirt decorating. After searching the apparel industry for the 'right fit' Tim came across socks that could receive a design. Experimenting followed and many sublimation print tests were completed before settling on just the right sock that produced such a VIBRANT print that he thought: "It's time! Let's do this!"

Looking for a company name Tim was looking at one of his pet snakes and was admiring the vibrant colors of one of his snakes that had just shed. With the old dull skin removed the freshly shed snake glistened in the sun, and with that Fresh Shed Apparel was born. 

As a company we are learning so much from so many people and companies. We are truly standing on the shoulders of giants in the apparel industry and are so very thankful for their support and encouragement. We are small, but we are passionate about sharing experiences and memories with all of you through our apparel and custom work.
